Gary and I went to Ottawa this past summer to visit my parents in their new home and to visit my brother and sister in-law.  While we were there we went to the Museum of Civilization to see the Japan: Tradition . Innovation show.  I picked up a pair of Japanese socks, or Tabi, from the gift shop as a souvenir.

This is my new cowl neck top that I’ve worn twice so far.  I love it when I can find good clothes at a really good price.  There’s a saying that I like from a former boyfriend’s “father” in Japan:

If it’s cheap, it’s good.  If it’s cheap and also happens to be good, then it’s better!
