8″ x 5″, ink & watercolour
An old Germ Defence package with a fun illustration of a man sneezing. The package is a few years old, which was the last time I also used the product. From what I can recall, I think the stuff may have actually helped a bit. At any rate, I do recall liking the fizzy orange flavour.
According to the package description of the product:
An effervescent cold formula containing 7 herbal extracts, antioxidants, electrolytes and amino acids including 1000mg of Vitamin C to help boost the body’s defence against menacing germs….

9″ x 12″, pen & watercolour
A bottle of orange Boylan soda made with real cane sugar and not that HFCS stuff (high-fructose corn syrup).
The bottom of the bottle dried a little funny. Watercolour can sometimes have a way of getting away from where you wanted it to stay, which is why I sometimes use the Marie’s Watercolours. They’re a little bit more like gauche. So, I have to paint on top of a pencil sketch first then use ink to finish.
