This is my new cowl neck top that I’ve worn twice so far. I love it when I can find good clothes at a really good price. There’s a saying that I like from a former boyfriend’s “father” in Japan:
If it’s cheap, it’s good. If it’s cheap and also happens to be good, then it’s better!

A packet of matches from Squirly’s, affectionately referred to as “The Squirel,” one of our regular haunts for food and drink. It was a good place to duck into for a quick beer after the annual Queen West Art Crawl.

I recently purchased a stunning collection of Hokusai’s prints and drawings in paperback. It’s not one of the more complete collections, since it was designed as a catalogue to accompany an exhibition in London, but it’s a good “starter” collection printed on acid-free paper. Also, the price was right at less than $20 CAD.

A classic package of instant noodles. RIP, Momofuku Ando, creator of Nissin Instant Noodles.
Mr Ando practised what he preached. He ate Chikin Ramen, his original flavour of noodles, almost every day until he died. Though sceptics pointed out that they were loaded with fat, salt and monosodium glutamate, he looked bonny and spry. Seabeds across Asia were littered with plastic noodle cups; but that was not his fault. ~ The Economist
